This Neko became a half ghoul due to a corrupted CCG member. Placed in the Quinx unit, Makoto trained under Haise Sasaki before the war against ghouls occurred. Once the battle raged on, Haise snapped back into Kaneki and Makoto followed his sensei's footsteps. They battled against the CCG to protect all ghouls in hopes of having peace. Due to being half ghoul and half neko, Makoto can only eat human flesh like other ghouls but can also tolerate fish like cats.
