Grandpa Katsu

Grandpa Katsu is an English Vtuber who primarily streams a variety of video games. He enjoys keeping a comfy vibe with his chat, and laughing and making new friends every day!

Katsu Tanuki comes from the year 3999. The Earth he is from has advanced quickly in technology, creating a cyberpunk-esque version of the world. However, one corporation reigns supreme, ruling over all industries and all people: "Mega Corp". In its efforts to have all the money, video games became microtransaction and loot box based in their entirety. Katsu, often referred to as "Grandpa" by those younger then he is due to his often 'old man'-esque rants about how things "used to be", had enough of this world though. Breaking in-- er I mean, visiting a Mega Corp research lab produced a device he had been looking to steal-- I mean borrow, with the intent to return it-- eventually: a Time Machine. Stepping into the device, he traveled back to the year 2023, excited to play games as they were meant to be played. He began to stream the games he enjoyed most to the internet of that year, hoping that by reminding people of the joy of video games in their purest forms, his future may never come to pass!
