Kookie is actually a small arctic fox who lost both of her parents in a forest fire caused by human hands. She was appointed as a forest guardian by the spirit of the forest. She has the task of providing a home for the lost souls of the forest dwellers and protecting the forest and its inhabitants from further dangers.
