Amalia Solaris

Amalia is a Vtuber and VAuthor that specializes in retro gaming, platformers, JRPGs, and action-adventure games. Her favorite games are Star Fox, Final Fantasy XIV, Fire Emblem, Splatoon, and Banjo-Kazooie. Her favorite anime include Code Geass, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass, Ouran High School Host Club, and Magi. Amalia's streams are usually described as comfy with a dash of zany humor. She lives with a vassal named Cap (frequently referred to as her butler) and her three pets, and frequently tells stories about them. Cap occasionally makes appearances in the background of her streams or in her chat.

Amalia also does creative writing on the side and posts her work on her site "From a Dragon's Diary". She has been credited in a the Star Fox Monthly Fanzine project and has done writing/lore works for several other vtubers.

Amalia is frequently referred to as a Salad Dragon due to her leafy tail. She disapproves of this moniker greatly.

Amalia Solaris debuted her L2D on June 19, 2022 after streaming for a few months as a PNGtuber. She describes her early streaming days as "having no idea what she was doing, barely understanding how to advertise streams, and having nothing in terms of a layout, plan, or anything like that". She also claims to have decided to become a vtuber after a "quarter-life crisis and maybe too many glasses of wine". Along with her debut in June, she began releasing creative writing works under the name Amalia Solaris.

Summer 2022 - Amalia experienced a series of bizarre eye-related injuries that were determined to have been inflicted by her "gaming too hard" and drying her eyes out according to her optometrist. She began wearing a lettuce eyepatch drawn by one of her friends in order to help mitigate how her eye tracking might be weird. She also jokingly claims that true gamers only need one eye to game. Thankfully, over time, her eye healed though her doctor warned her to stop gaming so hard (she did not listen).

Fall 2022 - At 1k followers on Twitter, Amalia ate a gickle (a pickle filled with Gushers) and drank a glass of pilk to celebrate. She also announced that she would be getting a second outfit done by Matsushima and coffebred along with some rigging updates. This second outfit would be referred to as Amalia 1.5 as it was not a new model from scratch. In October, Amalia celebrated 1k followers on Twitch. She announced she would be holding a birthday stream in March that would show off her new outfit as well as a few other new things. Amalia showed off a modified version of her logo, which was done by sadmachines. This version includes the 5th leaf on her tail. She also announced that her chat/followers would be referred to as Leaflets moving forward.

December 2022 - Amalia announced that she would be streaming less for a few weeks in order to deal with health-related issues and the loss of her grandmother.

January 2023 - Amalia announced that she would be breaking the space-time continuum live on Twitch on January 29th in order to get a sneak peek at her future Amalia 2.0. She claimed this would, in fact, be a model debut. On Jan 29th, Amalia made the attempt to summon her 2.0 with the help of chat. Unfortunately, her plan backfired and she turned herself first into a Bean Form and then a Chibi form. Due to Amalia leaving the summoning book behind in the void, she is now stuck as a Chibi.

Spring 2023 - Amalia hit 2k followers on Twitch and celebrated her birthday on March 11th. During this celebration, she was sucked into a portal where she was brought before the God of Time, who was quite upset at her for breaking the space-time continuum. She bartered with the god, who was too busy to really sentence her. She ended up getting "new drip" from the deal and officially began using Amalia 1.5, which features 1 new outfit and 2 new hairstyles (amongst several other updates). She also debuted a new dragon form, new backgrounds, and new background music. In April, Amalia caught COVID and was forced to take some time off to recover.

Summer 2023 - Amalia participated in Vtuber Summer Slam 2023 and celebrated 3k followers on Twitch. She held a belated 1 year anniversary party. She also announced the changing of her Twitch handle from amalia_solaris to amaliasolaris.

A divine dragon that hails from another world. Amalia is the heiress of the Solaris clan, a prominent dragon clan in the land of Avalonnia. She was recently called back to her family's manor to take over her clan's duty of watching over an old shrine said to contain a powerful relic within. However, she hates her job and would rather be playing video games and shitposting on the internet.
