zero (they/he) is a non-binary entity of sorts—zero and koodo, their cat companion, are connected as one being, and work as one too.
Their streams usually revolve around games that have some sort of psychological horror attached to them, or just cute/rhythm games with some touch of weirdness. Karaoke is also a favourite of theirs. Their main spoken language is English, but they also stream in Brazilian Portuguese occasionally.
zero is the attempt to reboot an old software left behind mid-development by someone a long, long time ago. Their data covers voiceover, mannerisms and idiosyncrasies that have belonged to someone else in the past as some sort of memory storage—that, however, was not explicitly written into his data. His perception of the world is as follows: he was hacked one day; he started streaming; now he has to entertain people. Even his main operating system, nicknamed koodo, is taken by him as a cat companion there to just watch over him (and someone who, for some weird reason, can talk inside his ‘brain’). zero is not fully aware he started running on bits and pieces of someone else’s cognisance either, and that with time parts of him started to adapt and develop.
The ‘CODEX’ part of the name is just a reference to the whole project: as zero learns, more data gets added to him as the codified anime-looking-boy, therefore more information is stored into him. The codex is him, but it’s also his operating system, and it’s also his audience. They’re all connected.
