Yanagi was a cosmic being who lived in the far reaches of space, until it was suddenly corrupted and destroyed by a wave of dark energy. Strangely, after being destroyed he found himself transformed into a void being. After several millennia of void research he traveled to Earth. He took on the name "Willow" and travelled to get to know the world better, before becoming a streamer.
