Pennifer is a trans-female cat girl vstreamer and vtuber bring a cozy and chaotic perspective to the vtubing community. A variety streamer, she streams regularly, having settled into a regular schedule of streaming primarily video game content. Starting her streams with a cheery "Howdy howdy and meowdy!", referring to herself as everyone's big sister, and greeting her chat as her Catfish, she leans into the nerdy student aesthetic, referring to her stream as the Schoolhouse, and makes no attempt at masking her speech impediment when it happens to pop up. She strives to be a supportive and friendly face for people who want to watch an ordinary cat girl fumble about through various games.
Pennifer Rose is an ordinary girl... Who one day woke up with cat ears and a tail. Instead of questioning it, or even trying to figure out a cure, she decided to embrace it, figuring that, because cats are cute, she was thus cuter than before, and why should she get rid of something so cute? The feline tendencies she quickly picked up on were a little less well received, but soon accepted just as the physical features were. Or at least, that's the story she gives everyone who asks. Whether or not it's true, who's to say?
In actuality, Pennifer is a mage. Or at least... She was studying magic, to a point, her feline features a result of a spell cast upon herself, a bit of more advanced magic, but something she'd been set on ever since first picturing herself as a cat girl. Though she'd gotten a handle on much of the basics, an incident caused by an attempt at employing dangerous, advanced magic caused her to renounce magic, and pretend she never even wanted to become a mage. Ever since, she began to lie about how she became a cat girl, or how her scarring came to be, denying she ever knew how to use magic.
Despite the incident, she went through life as a bubbly ray of sunshine and positivity, greeting every day with a smile and hope for the future, as much for her sake as it is for those around her. Though never seen without a grin, should someone ask about her prominent scarring, namely the burns on her face and right arm, that expression is quick to sink, and some manner of answer is given, always a lie to hide her prior interest in magic and not reveal the details of what happened. Similarly, she makes excuses about her birthday, November 29th, holding dislike for it given that it falls after Thanksgiving and into the Christmas season, finding that it tends to be an easily forgotten day, and treats it as just any other day of the year much of the time.
